Bocelli was abandoned. Blind, nervous in an unfamiliar environment, and unsure who is a friend and who is a foe. Luckily, someone knew to call Hope For Paws for help, so Katie and Kai rushed over to secure him.
They used all their equipment to enclose the property and didn't have enough plastic fence pieces left to nudge him into a corner, so Katie reached out to get him. That moment must be 1000 times scarier for a dog who can't see, but he immediately realized that the loving hug that followed was a good sign that he would be OK with us. 😊
