In this marathon of Epic Animal Encounters, we follow the fierce struggles of animals in the wild. Wild dogs face off with hyenas over a kill, showing that teamwork can be more powerful than size. A family of mongooses narrowly escapes wild dogs, while a coalition of cheetahs gets close to a family of warthogs, but the warthogs manage to stay safe. We also see a baboon bravely defending itself against young lions, and hyenas fighting a wounded lion for its meal. A lioness desperately protects her cubs from a crocodile, and lion cubs unexpectedly struggle when a mongoose fights back during play. Finally, young lions kill a dominant male in a brutal fight for power. This marathon shows the tough and raw realities of life in the African wild.
