It’s time for the quickest Audi RS cars ever created to go head-to-head over the 1/4-mile!
Mat and the team have flown over to Germany to get their hands on the latest range of Audi e-tron GTs. However, alongside them we have the all-new Audi RS6 GT & R8 GT, and we’re about to see how they all compare in a drag race.
First up we have the entry-level S e-tron GT vs the RS6 GT. The former is powered by two electric motors that produce 592hp and 740Nm. However, when the car is put into launch control mode, it briefly offers 680hp! It tips the scales at 2,385kg, and as new it costs £109,000.
The RS6 GT is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, and it produces 630hp and 850Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and it weighs in at 2,075kg. Before it sold out, it cost around £177,000.
Joining us in the next race is the R8 GT! It’s powered by a glorious 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10, and this puts down 620hp and 565Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels only via a 7-speed dual-clutch, and it tips the scales at just 1,570kg. Before it sold out, it cost around £200,000.
So how do you think this one will play out. Will the electric e-tron win it all? Or could the RS6 or R8 snatch a win? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE!
