In Sri Lanka, a young Sinhalese girl named Chandani, aspires to follow in her father’s footsteps as a mahout. She takes on the challenge of caring for an elephant calf despite being in a male-dominated profession. Although most doubt her abilities, a ranger named Mohammed becomes her mentor, introducing her to the world of elephants in the jungle. Together, they save a baby elephant, which bolsters Chandani's confidence and strengthens her bond with her elephant, Kandula.
