The thing about the BTCC is that most years it goes down to the wire. The title can often be settled in the final race of the season, a race that takes somewhere between 25-30 minutes to complete.
The championship favourite came in looking... well... favourite. But then the rain came and the rival won the first race. Then in the second race, the team mate of the title chaser bumps the leader off the road and then in the final race has to come through from the back of the grid. But it's not that easy because the rest of the field is too far ahead...
Until one and a half laps left to run.
