A classic car connaisseur talks about muscle cars: THE American take on performance cars, resulting in an all out horsepower war in the 1960s. Cubic inches, horsepower and 0-60 times were the numbers of the days. To tell the full story, the video is split in three parts.
This is part three: the downfall. If 1970 was the peak of the craze, then by 1975 the muscle car was almost gone. Lots of reasons contributed: emmision regulations, fuel crises, updated power ratings and soaring insurance rates. We take a good look at them and see how the American muscle car was killed.
