This is a clip from my hour-long documentary made to honor the 50th anniversary of Life Magazine. The people who I interviewed felt very emotional about the magazine and the beautiful work they did. Especially the photographers as it was a photographic magazine. Tens of millions of Americans received it through the mail each week. And tens of millions of families read it cover to cover. Many of these great photojournalists never recovered from the cancellation of the magazine back then. It's the story of another age. Before the Internet. Before cable-television and hundreds of channels.
