I've been saying this a long time now, but Andrew Brace should not be an international referee. How many chances is he going to get before World Rugby realizes this? He's barely good enough for the URC, and that a massive stretch to even say that. But when it comes to international rugby, he makes to many basic errors and is way to inconsistent.
My main issues were some of the glaring stuff he missed, like right before Englands first try, Siya Kolisi makes a massive tackle on Ben Earl, to which Earl clearly knocks it on. Somehow the ref missed it, England then goes on to score. In the ref's defence here, this is also on the TMO for not checking that. Either way it was a massive error.
Then we come to Ben Whitehouse, who is quickly becoming the new Marius Jonker as the worst TMO in the sport. I don't know what he is doing in that position, as I've never seen a TMO miss so many foul play stuff like him. He'll come in with the most pedantic calls and try to referee the game from the TMO box, but when he is really needed to spot glaring issues, Ben is nowhere to be seen. He should not be an TMO, nevermind an International TMO.
The officiating in rugby is getting worse and worse every single weekend, and it's not getting helped with the new stupidity of laws added each year. I can make a whole new video on how World Rugby is ruining the sport by doing that.
