What Russia's use of a new kind of missile on Ukraine means

Russia deployed a new type of missile against Ukraine in the wake of the Biden administration's approval for the use of western-made, long range missiles by Ukraine into Russian territory.

While the missile used by Russia on Thursday did not carry nuclear warheads, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called it "a clear and severe escalation in the scale and brutality of this war."
