Sick homeless cat stopped eating - bloodwork revealed what was wrong.

Animals don't communicate like we do, but paying attention to their behavior can tell us a lot. When Leona stopped eating and drinking, the Good Samaritans who offered her food and water knew she needed help.

Sante D'Or Foundation contacted Hope For Paws for help with this one because capturing a cat who is not interested in food can be tricky as there is no incentive to walk into a trap.

Leona wouldn't have survived for much longer without our help - she needed medication and a special diet.

Every day, our supporters help us help these animals, and it's just amazing! We really want to do more, but for that, we will need more supporters because more animals means more veterinary bills. (As an animal lover, you know these are expensive).
