The basketball journey involves more than just talent at certain points to have the ultimate success and carry that on to the highest professional levels. Politics, circumstance, timing, comparisons, decisions, and opportunity all have to fire as expected to match the God given talent. None of which is possible if the player isn’t available to hold up his end. Today’s feature knows a thing or two about not being available to hold up the talent he had. Not because of lack of opportunity, or bad decisions, miss judged timing, politics or any of that, but because his body simply couldn’t hold up long enough for him to achieve what his talent suggested he could. Jaylen Fisher’s basketball game was different. The way he moved, his timing and creativity, is evident the instant you see him make a pass or drive to the rim. You could tell on the court there was nothing like him. Not saying he was the best, but at least a different pace from everything else. The different players are the ones that have the greatest chance to be special. In the time he was available, he was a standout player shooting over 40% from 3 his college career, his last two seasons nearly mid 40s from distance.
