With high level talent so much more is required to showcase it at a high level. Today’s feature is a player that knew he was better than his peers since the 3rd grade. So much so that compliments by his senior year in high school bounced off him as if the person never said it. It was something Tommy Mason Griffin grew accustomed to and within himself knew he was headed straight to the NBA, and deserved to be mentioned with all the top level point guards at the time. He not only held his own on the high school level in season and during aau competition, he had some of the best to ever do it on that level like John Wall admitting to him personally he was tough to handle. There’s 500 player jobs if that in the league, only meant for the ones that could clear all the obstacles, while continuing to make sure their talents remain at elite levels.
